Genesis at South Oak Cliff!
Located in the 75216 area, where domestic violence rates are some of the highest in our city, we are committed to empowering women who have experienced abuse. Our mission is to build safer homes and stronger communities by offering the support and resources needed to end the cycle of violence. Together, we can create a future where every woman feels safe, valued, and supported.
We offer advocacy, individual and group counseling and access to childcare while mom is receiving services. In addition to our outreach center we also house our very own thrift store, which not only funds our facility, but also allows our clients to shop for free.

Individual Counseling
Individualized counseling helps women and children heal from the emotional & mental impact abuse and find ways to help process trauma.
Group Counseling
Group Counseling
Group counseling sessions give clients a chance to share their stories with others who share similar experiences so they can understand that they are not alone.
Advocacy
ADVOCACY
Our Advocates help identify goals, develop plans to help meet those goals and connect clients with resources and services from community partners that meet their physiological and safety needs.
Childcare During Appointments
Childcare during appointments
We have an on-site, supervised childcare room where children can read, play with toys or work on homework while mom receives treatment so she knows her child is taken care of under the same roof.
Referrals to legal services
REFERRALS TO LEGAL SERVICES
Our trauma-informed Legal team can assist clients with Family Law matters, including what to expect during the Family Law process and providing referrals to legal resources in the area.
Emergency Shelter
Emergency Shelter
In emergency cases we can provide referrals to our residential shelter at an undisclosed location. Women and their children are welcome to stay at the emergency shelter for up to eight weeks.
