How to Donate:
Load up your car with gently-used items you’d like to donate and drop off at our Benefit Thrift Store. We even provide drive-through services so you never have to leave your car, unless you want to come in and shop!

The Genesis Benefit Thrift Store accepts donations of gently used items such as
Clothing for men, women and children
Shoes and accessories
Jewelry
Home decor
Art
Toys and games
Furniture that is in good or new condition

Used or new mattresses of any size, including crib mattresses and box springs
Soiled or stained items of any kind
Personal hygiene products that have been opened (for health and sanitary reasons)
Furniture that is scratched, broken, torn or in any sort of poor condition

Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday from 1 pm - 4 pm.
Please do not drop items outside of our donation hours and do not leave donations outside of the building.

No, the Benefit Thrift Store does not offer pick-up services. Please visit us in-person to donate gently-used items.
Want to donate new items?
We are able to accept NEW items through our In-Kind Donations program at our Genesis at Lucas location. These items are then delivered directly to our clients and their children at our residential and non-residential locations. Food, purses, full-size toiletries, blankets and more are accepted!
