Genesis Corporate Heroes

Put your company's stamp of approval on the fight to end domestic violence

At Genesis, we know that domestic violence is not a private matter that unfolds behind closed doors. In fact, many women who are in abusive relationships are also working women. Employers who express a commitment to supporting our mission through volunteering their time and donating funds find that they are also helping their very own workforce in very meaningful ways.

There are three steps your company can take to become a Genesis Corporate Hero:

  1. Host a corporate lunch & learn or meeting at your office
Our team would be delighted to lead an informational session about domestic violence, its impact on our community and the corporate sector, and how to help a friend or coworker experiencing abuse. Let us be a resource for you!
  2. Sponsor a Genesis event or help us secure a corporate grant
Visit here to see what events are coming up. Let us know about corporate grant opportunities we might be able to apply for, or nominate Genesis for a corporate grant yourself!
  3. Volunteer as a group or individually
We value the opportunity to tailor a volunteer experience especially for your group, so if you don’t see something on our volunteer page that fits your group, don’t worry—give us a call, and we’ll help you find the perfect fit!

Please contact our director of corporate and foundation relations, Sam Daniels at sdaniels@genesisshelter.org or 214.389.7719 to get involved or for more details.
